How to Search

Welcome to the "How to Search" page. More of the sections will be developed as time goes by. Please check back occasionally or contact the site manager through the email provided at the bottom of each page.

1. There are 16 Ancestral Families whose identities and stories are told on this Website: 8 of them are called "Earlier Generations", and 8 of them are called "Recent Generations". The 8 "Earlier Generations" span the years from 1677 to about 1900; they are presented in chronological order as Generations 1 to 8, culminating with Jury and Annie Jackson. The 8 "Recent Generations" are the 8 children of Jury and Annie Jackson - they are "Generation 9", spanning from the late 1800s to the early 2000s.

2. There are two Family Trees presented: the "Recent Generations" tree is the Navigation Menu at the top of the Home Page. The Family Tree for the "Earlier Generations" is located further down the Home Page. Both Family Trees have links to the 16 individual family pages on the website.

3. In addition, there are ways to search by topics, such as locations where ancestors lived, cemeteries, etc.
