Everett Jackson, the sixth of Jury and Annie's eight children, was born when the family was living on a farm near Olney, Illinois. He served in the U.S. Army in World War One. After the war, he married Bethene (Harris) Jackson on Aug. 12, 1924. They had one daughter together, Amarylis Jackson. Due to failing health, Everett resided in a Veteran's Hospital in Danville, Illinois in the mid-1960s. He passed away in Cushing, Oklahoma in 1966 and was buried in Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing, Payne County, Oklahoma.
